Our quarterly update on news and events following our Parochial Church Council (PCC) meetings including news about finances, maintenance, safeguarding, young people and Deanery Synod.
Beginning of Holy Week, remembering Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a colt and people waved and placed palm leaves on the ground.
Common Worship morning prayer with the day's lectionary psalm, readings and prayers.

Midweek spoken (no hymns) communion and prayers for healing for those requested on our prayer tree and boards and others and the world, on Wednesday of Holy Week (16th)
Traditional Maundy Thursday service with footwashing (if you wish to take part in that part of the service), recalling Jesus' last evening with the disciples. Followed by silent candlelit prayers. Church open til 10pm.
Good Friday walk, meeting at Christ Church at 1.30pm for hot cross buns and a drink before walking to St. John's Newsholme in time for the traditional Liturgy service at 2.30pm remembering Jesus' last hour at the cross. You can just come along to St. John's at 2.30pm if you don't wish to join the walk.
Either bring your own plants or flowers or help with ours to make Christ Church Easter Day Celebration ready! Refreshments will be available. Drop in between 10 and 12pm, 19th April.
Sunset (7.45pm), at Christ Church. Following the tradition of the ancient service of fire and light, and the first Eucharist (communion) of Easter.
9am at St. John's 'sung' Eucharist for Easter Day. 10.30am Easter Celebration Service with baptisms, including full immersion.
